No. If you already have a print or a picture, you can upload it directly. If not, we will send you the free fingerprint kit upon request.

The kit is also safe for babies: The fingers do not come into direct contact with the ink.

• Photo or scan of a fingerprint on paper
• Imprint with ink pad on white paper
• Photo of a wax imprint (e.g., from the undertaker)

  Important: The lines must be as clearly visible as possible.

Pencil Method:

1. Shade an area on paper with a soft pencil
   
2. Rub your finger over the area until the fingertip is colored
   
3. Press transparent tape onto the fingertip
   
4. Stick the tape onto white paper and photograph it in good lighting
   
   Alternatively: Use an ink pad on white paper, then photograph.

Upload it anyway. We will check the quality and professionally optimize the template for engraving. If something is insufficient, we will get in touch.

For a good photo: bright light, from above, sharp, without shadows/reflections.
